In September Poshmark made a cost saving move on shipping for the platform. Change will save buyers some money on shipping cost, by switch from USPS Priority Mail to USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping went from $8.79 down to $6.49, this is up to 5 pounds. The ground advantage does come with the same insurance coverage as before. If you chose to ship an item priority mail there will be a $5 additional fee charged by the USPS.
If you still have Priority mail boxes unopened packs of 10-25 can be returned to your local post office. With the change you can use your Amazon boxes. or other boxes. Be sure to remove all the old labels/stickers. Make sure the boxes are still sturdy with out any damage. You can pick up some boxes and poly padded envelopes at your local big box retail stores, though the prices vary. This cost will eat into your profits.
